This is the replacement fork for many import and USA made wood band saws. It will fit the upper or lower guide post and includes the fork, the cool blocks and the screws, please note we may substitute a differnet style or type of screw than what is pictured. A great item, very popular as a replacement if you do not need or cannot afford the ball bearing guides we sell. Please check your bore size BEFORE you order. The two sizes are 3/4″ and 7/8″. This handy part enhances performance on your older band saw by replacing commonly broken or worn parts in one handy assembly! It includes the 3/4′ bored mounting bracket with set screw to hold to your tool post, the thrust bearing for behind the blade and the blade fork with 2 cool block style inserts. if you are not ready to upgrade to our ball bearing guide system, this will replace a commonly broken or missing piece for many 14″ made in Taiwan saws. It will also work on many older Delta saws as well.

This set of upper and lower guides replace the standard cool block style fork holders on most 14″ band saws. They allow for easier tracking of narrow blades and adjust to the blade on a cam. This allows the bearings to roll on the blade, giving extra support. Good for up to a 5/8″ blade width.

The simplicity of this blade guide system is a feature that every woodworker will appreciate. These innovative, patent-pending guides make setting the precision ball bearing guides fast and easy, with no tools required! Setting the guides takes just seconds. With just a turn of the large knobs, the bearings are freed from their previous positions. Internal springs that push on the rear bearing mounting posts will automatically force the bearings safely away from the bandsaw blade. Then, by pushing on the guides’ rear posts or even using the knobs themselves, the bearings can be moved into your desired spot next to the blade and secured in position by a twist of the same knobs. The ball bearing guides reduce heat building friction, increase blade life, and contribute to the smooth operation of the machine during cuts.

The Rikon Bearing Guide Retrofit Kit includes upper and lower side and rear thrust bearing assemblies, blade guards, guard height scale and complete instructions for installation and use.

These wonderful items are a HUGE upgrade o the standard guides found on many of the band saws on the market today! They will work for Rockwell, Delta, most Grizzly, Jet, Buffalo, AMT, Central, Champion, Ridgid, Craftsman (14″ and larger only) Dayton, Enco, Star, Accura, Shop Fox, Sunhill, Lobo, Transpower, Bridgewood and other Taiwan made saws. 26 mm OD bearings ride on the blade like tires on a road and microadjust with eccentric shafts and thumb screws. If the thumb screws innterupt your line of sight, you can simply replace them with Socket head cap screws. Use your original thrust bearing and shaft for the back of the blade. It will also work with some older Walker Turner saws. T-shaped fork post is cast steel and is a full 2.3″ long so that it will work for larger blade diameters. The rectangular post is app .335 x .595 diameter.
